Of late, a video clip of women spitting inside the houses in kota, rajasthan had become viral. In the video, a woman is seen spitting in the polythene. And later the pieces of polythene are seen throwing into the houses. It was carried by tv news channels in the bulletins terming it as a consipiracy to spread the corona virus with the question mark.

 In social media, the clip being viral with communal color hitting directly to muslims.. a twitter user wrote ’’ this video is from kota, rajasthan, see, how this ‘peace loving’ woman is spitting into the house, who is this? You must be knowing.’’

The captions with viral video are misleading. According to rajasthan police, women had spitted into the houses in vallabhvadi area of kota. Five were arrested. All of them had gone to this area for begging. In the interrogation they admitted the spitting but denied conspiracy to spread corona virus. According to police they spitted out of anger as they were denied alms. Manoj sikarwal, incharge, Gumanpur police station told that all the women were of ‘Bawari’ community and lives in ‘kunhari’ area. The name of arrested women is Mala, Anariya, Asha, Chandra and Dulari.

Many newspapers have reported the incident.

Conclusion

Women seen in the video are non-muslim. According to police they threw spit bags inside the houses as they were denied alms. There was no conspiracy to spread corona virus.
